Welcome to Cultivate Kindness, where yoga meets compassion, and kindness blossoms within ourselves and our communities. I'm Lauren Perkins, the heart and soul behind this endeavor, and I'm thrilled to share my passion for healing and connection with you.


My journey with yoga began as a personal quest for healing and growth. Through its transformative power, I discovered a profound sense of peace and resilience. Inspired by my own journey, I embarked on a mission to make yoga accessible to all, regardless of their circumstances.As a passionate yoga teacher, my journey began with a personal quest for healing and transformation. Driven by the transformative impact yoga had on my life, I felt compelled to share its benefits with others. My mission became clear: to make yoga accessible to all, regardless of their circumstances.


Specializing in Vinyasa Flow, Sound Healing and trauma-informed yoga, I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore healing and self-discovery. My aim is to empower people with practical tools they can carry with them to navigate life's challenges with grace and ease.


Nature holds a special place in my heart, and I believe in the profound healing power it offers. That's why I incorporate nature-inspired practices into my teachings and love offering sound baths to my clients as a way to deepen their connection with themselves and the world around them.


Based in York and Leeds, I teach in various studios and also run my own classes, striving to reach as many people as possible. Engaging in charity events and working towards establishing a nonprofit organization, I am dedicated to making yoga accessible to all on a pay-as-you-feel basis, ensuring that everyone who needs yoga as a therapeutic tool can access it, regardless of their financial situation.


Beyond individual healing, I am passionate about bringing yoga into schools, advocating for its inclusion in the curriculum as a fundamental tool for children's well-being. I firmly believe that prevention is better than cure, and yoga offers invaluable benefits for the physical, mental, and emotional health of children and young adults.
